A little about why I got into Nutrition...

In 2004 I was diagnosed with Hashimotos Thyroiditis and a goiter that was blocking my air supply. Not one medical specialist suggested that diet, a lack of specific nutrients, and lifestyle choices may have played a role. Instead, they said I needed immediate surgery to remove the goiter and possibly my thyroid. They removed both, and I was forced to take thyroid medication for the rest of my life. I thought I was on my way to feeling great, however, I began struggling with depression, weight gain, fatigue, and more. I threw myself into finding an answer and Nutritional Therapy was it! At 50 years old I went back to school and became certified in science backed nutritional therapy and the impact of food, movement, sun, hydration, and stress reduction on the body and mind. Today I sleep like a baby, have abundant energy, maintain a healthy weight, no more migraines or body pain, and am back to enjoying my life! I want you to feel this way too, and discover that Happiness is Health.
